I think lessons learned are still lessons learned. The money did some good. Personally I would have spent it elsewere, but correct me if I am wrong , these were private funds correct?
> I would rather that $150 million had gone to something that actually > improved education for the children of Chicago. really? I didn't see that anywhere in the summary, dude. It actually said achivement testing took place. But don't you think that education should be culturally appropriate? Or is this only a concern when the children don't hae brown skin? > No, the anti-Western, anti-capitalist stuff is what we are talking about- > teaching kids that because their skin is brown they should not be concerned > with the euro-centric obsession with achievement. Oh yeah, that's handy > stuff for someone living in our society. I think you underestimate how much has been spent on failed education projects. I also don't think this one failed exactly. Was the goal actually to increase test scores? I thought it was fighting poverty and that was what you objected to. Meanwhile at least he's been looking at the problem for a while, as oppsed to McCain, who isonly now realizing that this economics stuff is important. > Wow, you totally miss the point. I don't care what these morons do with > their time, I don't really even care that they pissed away $150 million > without showing any tangible benefit- more money than that has been > squandered on failed education projects. What I care about is that Obama > failed at the one thing we have records to judge him on. Failed.
