Are you really asking that question? If a candidate is known for position X and you want position X to go through, then him knowing its you does not matter as much. If you've already donated the max, are already known as to be a supporter and want to support more then it doesn't matter if he knows that you've donated more. The list goes on but being known as a donater in order to gain influence is not a requirement. The best rulers are those who stand behind the thrown. > Are you suggesting that the candidates are working in collusion with > bad guys? Not in the least. The candidates can easily be duped by big business, foreign interests, etc. Everyone wants their agenda pushed through. The candidates are just the biggest tools for those agendas. Yes, I've just called both (and all) candidates big tools. :) > Is their any evidence anywhere that this is happening, or > simply an attempt to taint Obama's fund raising efforts because all > the other efforts to smear him have failed so badly? Not at all. McCain has the same problem and more as some of his 'shady' investors are not so hidden. But then again, Soros is not the most America friendly person around and he's an Obama supporter. But the point is moot. This is not a single candidate issue. > And note my earlier message that the McCain websites also accept > prepaid cards, so if accepting the cards taints one campaign, it > taints them both. Exactly. What name did you use? How many times did you donate? Your a good person donating to a cause you believe in.
