wow. A Fox News list :) I see the word accused in there a lot; the
Bushies are good at making accusations.

I see "convicted" in there once, for Jose Padilla. Unfortunately for
your thesis, charges against Padilla of plotting to attack the United
States were DROPPED for lack of evidence.

This mind you was after this US citizen spent years in Guantanamo and
was allegedly tortured there. He *was* convicted of jihad abroad;
however the evidence for this is flimsy at best and amounts to his
fingerprints on a piece of paper he could easily have been handed
during interrogation. Paul Craig Roberts, conservative writer and
member of the Reaga administration has decribed this conviction as a
far greater blow to the United States than anything terrorists have
done.
