Coach has to decide is his team can beat the other team in the overtime. Is his team tired? Lucky to be in it at all? Missing key players? Is the momentum against him? I think he _did_ make the right call (estimating the above without all the facts he has), but I can only guess. He is a smart guy. So I think he knew his teams odds better than I.
