I talked about the site in a different thread. I rather like it. The
content seems to be shifting right now now, which makes sense for a
transitional team, but I'd love to see some transparency in terms of
revision logs, similar to a wiki.

Overall though, a pretty solid design and execution. One of the side
effects of the way the Obama campaign was run is that they have a
couple million people that have opted in to lists they either run
(like like fundraising lists) or might have access to send messages
out to (like MoveOn). This has the potential for an Obama
administration to communicate its message directly to the people and
bypass the media in a way that hasn't really been done before. It also
could allow for greater direct feedback from individuals as well. The
Obama campaign did that pretty well with Facebook groups during the
campaign.

It remains to be seen how they will end up using the Internet as part
of governance, but the early teasers are interesting.
