Well, for the record, he isn't withholding anything from anyone. He's not polling people as they come up the communion line to see whom they voted for. Anyone who voted for Obama can get communion.
In fact, you could walk into their service on sunday and get communion. Anyone could. They rely on the faithful to determine for themselves if they should receive what is, to Catholics, a holy sacrament.
