The BBC and others go out of their way to label people like these as
militants, fighters, practitioners, whatever but not terrorists. Doesn't
matter how horrific the attack, they just can't bring themselves to see it
for what it is.

As for the Jews, yes. They went to a Jewish center specifically for this
purpose. They targeted them and tortured them before killing them.

My view is that this is just a wake-up call for the world which will go back
to sleep next week. There are real genocides in the Sudan and no one cares.
There are 'occupying' armies in Tibet, Lebanon, and a whole host of other
places but the world sleeps unless it's Israel. There are wars, terrorists
attacks, plots and more going on every day and the media does its best to
play it down or play moral equivalence. My view is that no one will remember
this next week and no one will care.

Is Pakistan in cahoots with the terrorists? Probably. They've been shown to
be supporters of terrorist groups in the past (like in the past few months)
and they're still trying to get more land in Kashmir (Pakistan was part of
India before the split).
Will it be proven that Pakistan had a part in this? Never.

This is a Islam vs. non-Islam thing. Yes, you can say militant Islam vs.
non-Islam but that is a point that means nothing. The education that is
coming out of places like Saudi Arabia is not pro-anything other than Islam
and everyone else is second class or less. This is not teaching tolerance.
The governments are not teaching their people tolerance. Maybe the average
Muslim on the street could care less about dominating non-Muslims but they
have never counted in the eyes of their leaders. Note what I just said -
their leaders. Their kings, presidents-for-life, dictators, whatever. Their
teachers, their government, their religious leaders, etc. This is a war of
cultures and the average Muslim means nothing to those fighting in the name
of Islam. They have no problem sacrificing as many innocents as they need to
get what they want and what they want is not peace.

Note that this is not racism. I'm not advocating one race over another.
Neither Islam nor the 'west' are a race. I'm not advocating one culture over
another. I'm saying flat out that this is a war between an IDEAL of Islam as
a supreme religion/philosophy over all vs. those that don't want to live
under that religion/philosophy. This is a war between an Islam rooted in
their days of conquest and domination. I don't have a problem with the Islam
which leaves me alone just as I don't have a problem with the Christianity
that leaves me alone. I have a problem with the Islam that wants me dead for
being a Jew, westerner, non-Muslim, whatever. Is that two Islams? Maybe but
those on the killing side want to turn all of Islam into theirs and they ARE
wining.
