Please note that I've been trying to move the conversation away from it being strictly about the responsibility or Jesus or the church to the responsibility of anyone in a place of power or influence. Again, I'd like to avoid demonizing or attacking any one group or religion. Just to keep tempers in a safe zone. I know first hand how the heat of the moment can cause a word to slip out that is regretted later and on that I speak of my own words, not the words of others.
