I have not tried this but a friend did, purchased a package from smarthome.com and said they had too many problems when radio's were turned on and cell phones were charging. Also could not get it to work in the kitchen unless he plugged it into an outlet that wasn't on the same circuit as the appliances (fridge, microwave, dishwasher).
