Windows Media player 11 will stream to the Windows PCs (under "Library"
choose "Media Sharing") - this is a DLNA ("Digital Living Network Alliance")
compliant server so it'll stream to quite a few doohickeys and programs (PC,
Mac, Linux, PS3, XBox 360, Networked DVD players, Roku, etc). Unfortunately
it won't stream to the Wii since the Wii isn't compliant.

However the Wii does have a web browser (at least if you downloaded the
Opera channel). Orb is a traditional DLNA server but also includes a web
client: hit the client with the Wii's browser and you can stream to the
browser. This takes more PC oomph than the other options because the PC is
actually converting your video, on the fly, to Flash Video but it does
(mostly) work. The video quality is far from perfect, but for
news/talking/reality shows heads it's fine.

Music is just fine with pretty much any option.
