Hey thanks,
The day started very uneventfully really. Had a visit from our Brigade
commander, Col. Piatt and our Battallion commander as well. Ate turkey, ham,
roast, ribs, steak, potatoes, stuffing, corn, rolls and desert. Very nice
spread. After that we got ready for a mounted patrol. Our two hour patrol
turned into a 6 hour recovery mission when our MRAPS went over a dirt canal
crossing, and the MRAP in front of mine rolled into the canal when the road
gave way. No one was hurt and once we got the vehicle out of the water, we
started it up and went back to base. I will be posting some pics of it on my
blog later on today.
