As discussed with Erika, CPA's don't just spit all the unique tips and
tricks out.. you have to talk to a bunch and hound with questions until
something pop's out..

First - I am not a CPA - seek advice from a CPA.

Any miles you drove for any client function. Lunch, meetings, coworking.
Miles to your primary business don't count, but everything else is fair
game. Also, don't forget miles driven to the airport for flights (if you
took any biz flights), or to any technology events like a user group meeting

Meals involving business.
All phones, cell, land
Internet access.
Percentage of your home that you use as a home office (take photos of it).
Any tech you bought, office supplies.

I usually pull out the year's worth of CC statements and my checking
statements and scour them for anything I may have missed or forgotten.

I would also discuss with a CPA your options for any medical expenses you
had during the year, or any payments for private medical insurance.
