Yep. Hamas, Hezbollah, and Syria would wipe them out. Would any of the Arab states even protest such a move? I wonder.
Why is there such moral confusion about the situation? I really don't get it. The first group wants peace. The second group wants to annihilate the first group. Both groups have a historical claim on the land. In 1947 the UN divided the land between them. The first group agreed to the plan and set about building a modern country with a bustling economy and vibrant society. The second group would not agree to the plan and instead set about building a cult of personality around Yasser Arafat, then a cult of victimhood around "refugee camps" and "occupation" (after two failed military assaults on the first group by neighboring countries left part of the second group's land in the hands of the first group), then a cult of death around a jihdist vow to destroy the first group. The real tragedy of the Palestinians is that such misery has been inflicted on them by their own leaders and by the leaders of neighboring states whose interest lies not in seeing Palestinians do well, but in seeing them suffer.
