I gotcha. Yeah, when things go right they go well. When something unexpected happens, it can be a real pain to sort it out if you don't have the time to invest in getting familiar with it.
That's one of the amusing and annoying things about Linux. It can go from "Wow, that was easy" to "I am now bald because I have ripped all of my hair out" in about 3 seconds.
