If it is controlling on money or personal information, I admit to a gut
level nervousness about ajax apps.

I feel much more confident in Java or Flex apps.

Not based on _real_ reasons, just by the fact that it feels closer to an
application (executable), and an application "feels" more secure than a web
page, and a load-once web page "feels" safer than ajax work in the browser.
