uh... when you cut through the rhetoric (this is an editorial not a
news article) the bottom line is that one Democrat, who is friendly to
the military by the way, made a speech when he said that historically
Congress cuts military spending when the economy is bad. Since he was
speaking to a military audience, I am willing to bet that the rest of
his speech said that he was not advocating this; probably more like
warning about it.

Perhaps he and all you bitter Republicans in this thread are correct
and military spending will get cut, but you can't prove it by this
article.

Personally I'd like to see spending on Blackwater and Haliburton cut
quite a bit.
