OK, this part:
On foreign policy, he warned of difficult challenges ahead in
Afghanistan and said his administration is looking for opportunities to
engage diplomatically with Iran.
There is that word that liberals love to use - Diplomacy.

Then, later on in the story, there is this:
"My national security team is currently reviewing our existing Iran
policy, looking at areas where we can have constructive dialogue, where
we can directly engage with them," Obama said.
Another set of favorite words - dialogue and directly engage.

Then the next one:
"And my expectation is, in the coming months, we will be looking for
openings that can be created where we can start sitting across the
table, face-to-face -- diplomatic overtures -- that will allow us to
move our policy in a new direction," he said.
Hmm, more talk of diplomacy and policy change. Boring.

Then he begins this so called tough talk on Iran, but I am not convinced
that he will not do anything further than silly things like sanctions
and get UN votes to denounce this and that. I really do not see anything
significant here that shows he is the least bit hawkish on Iran, none at
all. In fact, once you throw the letters UN into any discussion, then
any prospect of dealing with a rogue nation like Iran properly is out
the window. AFAIAC, the UN has lost it's relevance in the world years
ago. I still wonder why they even exist if nothing else than to get some
well placed foreigners an chance to live in New York for a while.
Oh well, time will tell.
