Obama and I don't always have the same opinion on "the best people for the job". But he got elected President and I did not, so the nominations are his. None the less, I think that nominating someone to a cabinet position who has lobbied for the eradication of that department is a very suspect move. I didn't like it when Bush did it and I didn't like it when Obama did it.
I just wish that people had taken down the Vilsack nomination. Ah well.
