Kavik is a samoyed. His name is from the book "Kavik the Wolf Dog" (although we refer to him as Kavik the Wuss Dog) and Kavik supposedly means Wolverine in "eskimo" although I cannot find any folks to verify that. My yupik friends think its inupiut and my inupiut friends dont' speak inupiut. Toklat is named for the book "Toklat the Alaskan Grizzly Bear" and he is a keeshond. Toklat is apparently a part of denali park, where mt mckinley is. i suspect it is an eskimo word. ______________________________________________________________________ Your ad could be here.
