True. I went to the Sprint store to replace the wireless headset I got with my new cell phone. The Sprint store was a standalone store in front of a Circuit City. This was the day of the start of the liquidation sale Circuit City had. I had to park in another state just about!
I was talking to the Sprint sales rep and he mentioned that the night before, employees were instructed to stay after hours and raise all the prices. Some above the manufactures suggested retail price. The Sprint sales rep, who eats lunch with some of the Circuit City employees at the Panda Express next to the Sprint Store, was told by some Circuit City employees that some of the discounted prices for some items where more on the first day of the liquidation sale compared to the day before. Happens all the time. When my sister worked retail for a large retail chain, they would raise the prices on merchandise the night before the sale.
