I'm not all that fired up about this.

Vrabel has maybe a year or two left, MAYBE. He shined because he had talent
around him. The Chiefs have little talent on defense. He's not the kind of
talent who can transform a defense. He's an intelligent role player who wins
with smarts and heart. That's key on a talent laden defense...but I don't
know what that buys you with the Chiefs...? Probably just frustration on
Vrabel's part. He's probably depressed as hell about this trade.

As for Cassel...put simply....i'm not convinced at ALL that he's an
above-average QB in this league. No way. Lobbing a few TD's to Randy Moss
and winning 11 games on a team that won 18 the year before.....well, let me
just say that Kansas City is a long way from New England...geographically
AND organizationally.

With Bellichek's history with draft picks, especially late round first and
early round second picks, I'm not sure if NE didn't actually get the better
end of this deal.
