I'm guessing here a bit, but I think you would need to re-issue all of your
certs if you did that. Depending on how many you have in play, that could be
a serious PITA. Would it be more expensive to do that than to pony up $700
for a Windows Server license? I'm a big fan of Linux, but to me it makes
more business sense to just keep your CA on Windows.
