A cold cheese sandwich, a piece of fruit and a carton of milk was pretty much all I ate for lunch in grade/high school... When I bring my lunch to work I usually still have the same thing--though without the milk now.
It's funny what schools (and apparently the reporter) consider a "good" lunch. I'd much rather have my kids eating a cheese (or peanut butter) sandwich and a piece of fruit than the mystery meat or chicken "fingers" they serve on the lunch line. The schools in our district do pretty much the same thing, though being on the Left Coast they offer a couple different choices in the "emergency" meal. The Emergency meal is served to those that forgot their lunch money or who are in arrears on lunch payments. > Dana, this is in your neck of the woods - have you heard anything about this? -- will "If my life weren't funny, it would just be true; and that would just be unacceptable." - Carrie Fisher ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Adobe® ColdFusion® 8 software 8 is the most important and dramatic release to date Get the Free Trial http://ad.doubleclick.net/clk;207172674;29440083;f Archive: http://www.houseoffusion.com/groups/cf-community/message.cfm/messageid:290614 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/groups/cf-community/subscribe.cfm Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/unsubscribe.cfm?user=11502.10531.5
