We all lose our cool once in awhile. We seem to get into troubled waters when debate moves from issues to personal attacks. In general, I'm even inclined to say let that stuff go, but when personal attacks become pointed insults that serve no other purpose but to offend, a line has been crossed. A gentle reminder about mutual respect might be in order at that point.
