But he's further making the point that CNBC is/was essentially an infomercial for Wall Street. They were hyping up stocks, advertising/glamorizing the culture, and fostering a sense of urgency that everyone jump in NOW! And it turns out that CNBC was as complicit in the Ponzi scheme as anybody on Wall Street or the Bush Administration.
