I bought some steel cut oats for that very purpose about a month ago (learned about the crock pot method from a BFL website). Not sure if the steel cut ones are the same as Scottish oats. I just know they are best overnight in a crockpot.
However, we just moved over this past weekend and it just took me since I posted this thread until this very minute to even find a pot to cook my oatmeal in! LOL!
