No no, professional communication is one thing, forum/mailing list chatting is completely another.
Of my whole rant the biggest thing was the question mark. Ending a statement that is clearly not a question with a question mark is kick-in-the-nuts annoying for me. I really don't like it when you end a statement with a question mark? Right now I am drinking a nice cold Tuborg? I can't wait until the weekend? To me this somehow signifies that the guy has no confidence. In his mind he is subconsciously so incredibly unsure of himself that he ends every statement as if it's a question.
