I think putting together such a list is a GREAT idea. Giving people jobs, just because they on the list is a HORRIBLE idea.
US Muslims are what, .8% of the population? And they have 0 people in cabinet or subcabinet, or an appointed positions is interesting. out of about 5000 peeps, you would think a handful might have made the cut in the past. Purposefully adding resumes of qualified underrepresented groups (be that religious, racial, etc) is not a bad thing in my book. As long as they are not the only person considered. I don't think we have to worry about old white men not getting a look. And, for example, both Jewish and Morman people are _way_ overrepresented (considering jobs per percentage of population). As are whites overall. That doesn't mean they shouldn't get the job, but that the government needs to make sure there is not some unintended bias determining such things. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Adobe® ColdFusion® 8 software 8 is the most important and dramatic release to date Get the Free Trial http://ad.doubleclick.net/clk;207172674;29440083;f Archive: http://www.houseoffusion.com/groups/cf-community/message.cfm/messageid:293761 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/groups/cf-community/subscribe.cfm Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/unsubscribe.cfm?user=89.70.5
