This isn't really a mutation - it's a known genetic disorder (quibble, but
yeah).  No change to the genome, but a "collision" of options, so to speak.

It's one of those things that sound good - and they always show cute little
kids lifting weights, but it'll rip you apart later.  The muscles literally
never stop growing - they bulge and grow to the point where it's difficult
to do common tasks. Tremendous strain is placed on the skeleton causing pain
and arthritis.  As muscle mass burns more energy much more strain is placed
on the heart and lungs as well (leading to greatly reduced lifespan). The
body builds essentially no fat layer and so you're much more susceptible to
cold, to nutritional defects, etc.

Basically "everything in moderation" covers this - this throws the balance
of the body so out of whack that there a lot of negatives.

Although, on the plus side, there's promising research coming from studying
this condition in the area of neuro-muscular diseases like Muscular
Dystrophy.
