This isn't really a mutation - it's a known genetic disorder (quibble, but yeah). No change to the genome, but a "collision" of options, so to speak. It's one of those things that sound good - and they always show cute little kids lifting weights, but it'll rip you apart later. The muscles literally never stop growing - they bulge and grow to the point where it's difficult to do common tasks. Tremendous strain is placed on the skeleton causing pain and arthritis. As muscle mass burns more energy much more strain is placed on the heart and lungs as well (leading to greatly reduced lifespan). The body builds essentially no fat layer and so you're much more susceptible to cold, to nutritional defects, etc. Basically "everything in moderation" covers this - this throws the balance of the body so out of whack that there a lot of negatives. Although, on the plus side, there's promising research coming from studying this condition in the area of neuro-muscular diseases like Muscular Dystrophy.
