International political movement. Not limited to the US and not controlling any country, so saying the US is a zionist nation is far from fact. If supporting the creation or existence of Israel makes a country zionist then there are quite a few countries other than the US that are zionist. But in fact there is just one zionist country in the world and that is Israel.
By that definition so is every country in the League of Nations that set aside Israel for the Jews and every country in the UN who supported the creation of Israel.
