If a few people have iPhones you could setup iTunes in DJ mode and let
the guests select what they want to play and when.  Just make a
playlist containing the music you'd like to restrict them to and pre
populate it with selections.  People can load up the DJ remote on the
iPhone and vote other stuff in if they want.

Or just make a playlist and let er rip - but iTunes DJ is very cool.

As far as music, I would definitely drop some Jack Johnson in there.
