Cameron,

My mail server has POP3 and IMAP. It is not an Exchange server. Thats why I
was trying to find a way to sync calendar and contacts between IPhone and
GMail. (Ras Tarafi had mentioned using Exchange, therefore I noted I did not
have that).

Most exchange plans are billed per mailbox. I personally have 4 accounts and
I have one for my wife and one for each of my kids.
Therefore by going to an exchange hosted solution, it would cost about
$10/per box * 8 = $80/month. Right now my POP server is part of my hosted
solutions package with a web hosting provider.

I know using IMAP can do emails but I don't think it does calendar/contacts.
