I was thinking to myself during a moment of lucidity ... some people are afraid to put their life into Google, using them for everything: files, email, calendar, etc.
But then they will quite happily use MS for their life organizational needs: Outlook, Word, Excel, Access, OneNote, Powerpoint, etc ... I understand MS stuff is via installable programs stored on their computer so the mental aspect is: all my stuff is done here and if I lost the internet I could at least fire up the 'puter and get to everything. OK ok... But now that Google has offline access now to at least two of their big main items: email & calendar (I think docs does too now? havent checked) this argument doesn't really hold water anymore does it? Anyway ... just rambling really. Not quite seeing the point of expensive exchange server, etc anymore or the whole "google is taking over the world" argument. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Adobe® ColdFusion® 8 software 8 is the most important and dramatic release to date Get the Free Trial http://ad.doubleclick.net/clk;207172674;29440083;f Archive: http://www.houseoffusion.com/groups/cf-community/message.cfm/messageid:294580 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/groups/cf-community/subscribe.cfm Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/unsubscribe.cfm?user=11502.10531.5
