Now that isn't necessarily true. The North Point Mall is a hop skip and a jump from the Marta stop and Marta buses are all over the place.
And just because you are an ITP'er and can probably walk everywhere you need to go, doesn't mean you've lost your sense of timing. The airport is within an hour. From Cumming it only took me 55 minutes to get there. Alpharetta is at least 10-15 minutes closer.
