The SIXAXIS is okay (and lighter) but both of mine (bought at launch) have ended up a bit wonky (might be the kids sticky fingers, but one stick on each fail to return to true and "fade" a bit). Someday I'll call Sony and send them in... However the DualShock3 (got two of those when they launched) have held up much better and is still the best controller for the system in my opinion. I've used the Logitech options on the PS3 (but never owned - friends that have say that battery life is better, but I'm not sure) and LOVED them on the PS2... but no other company has ever impressed me at all. I'd really only consider the official DualShock3 or the Logitech.
