I will confess to be somewhat less than informed about current network
technology as until recently I had a network tech to handle it for me,
so I just told him what I wanted and didn't get into the details.

What I currently have is Linksys Wireless-G router connected to the
cable modem in the den, two laptops with wireless network cards, four
other computers with wired network cards, and a hub with eight ports.
My goal is to put the four wired boxes in the garage and connect them
to the hub, then connect the hub to the new WAP so it will talk to the
Wireless-G router. Am I on the right track?
