I have actually toyed a couple of times with finding a project or information pool, and coding it up in cf. Of course, now I dream of coding it in Wordpress and php. wish i could do both.
The things I have thought of: (actually, suggested by a coworker and his wife) - school system student/parent profiles for teachers/administrators. police data profiles (like you see on every cop show on TV, but in no local police force. Police info outreach site (for the police to communicate with the public, and vice versa) Town Hall outreach - creating a template site to host a Town's information, including public works, licences, police, tax info, permitting, etc, which the town clerk manages. Instead, I play wow, golf, watch tv, and work on my family tree history. I really need to do something useful for a change.
