But there you go, if you start talking about banning this kind of idiocy, it plays right into their hands and will only fan the flames. President Obama is the only guy with a megaphone big enough to address these folks and bring them back on the reservation, and his plate is rather full right now. Still, he's the President, he needs to show them some love. If he tries and fails, he loses nothing because these guys are already foaming at the mouth, but he might actually win over a few people. Not that he'll win them over to this overall worldview, that's not the goal. All he needs to do is convince them he is thinking about their futures and their well being as much as that of his hardcore supporters.
