And from the headline I thought you were talking about islam, silly me. The sample (742) was really too small to draw any serious conclusions, and when broken down by religious affiliation, its even smaller. That said, I suspect that it isn't the religious affiliation but the political orientation of the person. a few points on this. First the percentage of Republicans are almost the same as evangelicals in the study. Republicans had almost the same percentage favoring torture (actually it was a higher percentage). Finally evangelicals in the sample were almost entirely republican. So it adds up to a fairly consistent result. The study found that Republicans favor torture rather than Christians in general or rather Christians who attend church more often. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Adobe® ColdFusion® 8 software 8 is the most important and dramatic release to date Get the Free Trial http://ad.doubleclick.net/clk;207172674;29440083;f Archive: http://www.houseoffusion.com/groups/cf-community/message.cfm/messageid:296568 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/groups/cf-community/subscribe.cfm Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/unsubscribe.cfm?user=89.70.5
