Seriously, there are good products out there that fit the bill. I would look
for an LCD projector less than 5 lbs. There are a ton of vendors, all the
big electronics names plus a bunch of smaller, newer names like BenQ and
Pico.

If you want something really small and relatively inexpensive, look at this
Pico model, it's about the size of a PDA phone:

I see them on eBay around $300.
