Columnist for the WSJ gets to grumbling about how the Obama administration is getting away with using a metric about jobs "created or saved". That, of course, is a totally fictitious metric because there is no way to measure how many jobs would have been lost without measures X and Y like the stimulus package. Obvious political spin.
I totally agree with the author on it and it is a great example of how people try to lie with numbers. But then the columnist goes carping about how they never could have gotten away with this during the Bush administration and where is the watchdog press? blah blah blah. What a fucking hyprocrite. Yes, yes, the press corps did a brilliant job of doggedly investigating all the claims coming out of the Bush administration and it is only now that Obama is President that they've turned into lapdogs. Jesus. Lets call out the Whitehouse for crap like this, by all means, but seriously, trying to pretend that the WSJ wasn't a political mouthpiece? Makes you wonder how the guy thinks his own shit smells. http://online.wsj.com/article/SB124451592762396883.html ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Want to reach the ColdFusion community with something they want?
