I've got a domain (three guesses what it is :P) that I've had since 1997. I've had many inquiries as far as whether I would be willing to part with it, but nothing ever serious.
This morning I find an email waiting for me from this one guy who had approached me back in late 2005 (he still had the email I sent back, and replied to it, so it had that timestamp - heh). He offered me five grand. Now, that's a reasonably serious offer, and I'm considering it - but various friends are like "hold out for more!!!" I'm also partly inclined to inquire with the guy his intentions for the domain - and perhaps offer the use of it for "a piece of the action" so to speak. Thing is, I've never had to deal with this sort of situation - and I'm a horrible negotiator. Advice? Anyone?
