Aww come on Bruce. you know as well as most that being in the middle of something as opposed to "reading about it" is a TOTALLY different experience and REALLY makes you think about things.
A small example: I can read about the UK all I want .. but actually having LIVED there and experioenced first hand the culture, was a complete and TOTAL difference. One more: You can say you understand how a parent feels about a child, but until you actually create one and are responsible for it, you'll never REALLY know. Eduication is not only from books. It's from doing. Never forget that.
