Our email server got hit with a similar message to that but our mailserver filtered to attachment. I'm guessing it's an email virus that is not related to your web woes.
However, that's not to say that there aren't things amiss. Remember, code doesn't rewrite itself (yet) so if you created something that works and was working fine for some time and now it doesn't work... put two and two together and you'll probably find that the dates on some of the files in question are more recent than when you finished up your add-on.
