I was crushed by that announcement. I use Zicam all the time to fight off
colds.  As a matter of fact, I went to entire fall 2008/winter 2009 seasons
without getting one cold - I attribute that to dilligent hand washing and
using Zicam when I felt like I might be getting sick..
I
have no idea if my sense of smell is affected at all.  I participated
in activities as a youth that would have done more damage to the nerve
endings in my nose than Zicam ever could.
(*wink* *wink*)

Besides, smell is the most overrated of the sense in my mind. ;)
