Do you actively discuss things with people who disagree with you? Because you've pulled a "I'm going to take my toys and go home" routine here. Because I disagreed with you. So it would seem you have a development opportunity at dealing with conflict. I would suggest anything by Roger Fisher. He can coach you on how to create win-win discussions rather than running from conflict.
