Ideas get me worked up. Trolls as well. Especially ones that ought to have better things to do with their time. I personally don't care if the ideas are in books, on tubes or in pubs. I'm still going to call out bullshit when I see it being spread, especially on topics that are of actual importance like health care. Don't pretend to be an expert one moment and then decry people for taking you too seriously the next.
Also, check out the next issue of JAMA for an article by Chuck Kilo on when too much healthcare is a bad thing, why it can be a problem for patients and society at large and how to use technology to reduce the costs of modern health care. I'm rolling out two new products for Dr. Kilo's group this month in an attempt to make them more lean, mean and responsive. You know, healthcare reform.
