Not, it's not just Phish, but for some reason it seems to be "that crowd".
Phish used to just be laid back hippies....smelly folks who could handle
their weed and enjoy a mellow show.

Then Dave Matthews came on the scene and next thing you know, DMB and Phish
are blaring out at frat parties. Soon after, their concerts turned into
binge drinking and smoking festivals for dipshits in folded baseball caps
and khaki pants...fucktards who have no idea how to have a good time without
starting a fight and showing how totally cool they are.

It's amazing how quickly it happened too. First time I saw DMB, it was in
the early 90's at a small bar in Columbia, MO....the show was FREE. About
100 people standing just a few feet away from the band...dancing and
trippin' their balls off...sharing music and a good time.

Just 2 years later I pay $40 to sit in the back of some big amphitheater to
watch DMB go through the motions of playing their top 40 hits while "Dillon"
and "Blaine" sing along in the crowd before comparing birkenstocks and
starting a fight because they are so totally wasted.

*sigh*
