1. Did not see it.
2. In terms of action they were about the same.  The quality of the story
(which, again, Bay is not known for) was probably a bit better in the first
one.  One thing I will say, growing up as a huge fan of all the animated
series, they did a pretty good job of incorporating things from several
different incarnations of the series.

3. No.  At least I could
not. I know there will be people on this list who will hate it, but I
enjoyed it for what it was, a movie about BFRs (Big Fucking Robots) with
lots of explosions.
