I have owned a lot of strange cars. When I was in high school, my father was in the automobile business - new car broker and used car dealer. He would issue me cars off the lot, then sell them out from under me, give me something else. By the time I got my first "owned" car I had about 14 "temps".
Had to take/pass the driver's license test, including parallel parking in those days, in Mom's '57 Chrysler Imperial (pink) with the huge tail fins. Those cars included (ones I remember): 3 different Nash Metropolitans (yeah, the little 2-tone bumper cars!)
